The Doggie Dame provides canine obedience and behaviour consulting using the most up to date and science-based methods. Each program is tailored specifically to your dog based on their personality, learning ability and attitude, breed, motivators, etc. A full assessment is done on every dog to determine the best program.

We offer in-home  or virtual sessions.

A 6-week program designed to provide you and your puppy the basics! This course teaches basic operant cues such as sit, down, wait, stay, bed, heel, recall, loose leash manners, etc. Your puppy will also learn how to manage their feelings independently and also teaches the human companion all about canine body language. You can be rest assured that your puppy will be trained using only positive methods so that they learn to enjoy training and develop an eagerness to please. Positive methods and learning body language also foster communication and trust between owner and puppy, leading to a stronger bond.

This program is designed and tailored to you and your dogs needs to combat negative behaviours such as resource guarding, reactivity,  aggression, etc. The Doggie Dame will provide an assessment of your dog to determine their learning ability, attitude, motivators, limitations, and general personality to be able to address negative behaviours at the root of the problem and provide a program designed to help you and your dog meet your goals.
